Our tropical friends from Chicago, Itzi Nallah and the CumbiaSazo! crew have been touring westward and covering lots of land far and away from their Pilsen community in the Windy C. The team’s been properly representing their phenomenal monthly that squeezes in over 800 party people often..and just about every time! A growing name in the alternative latin and global bass spaces internationally, the CumbiaSazo! crew fundraised (SUPPORT!) and immediately set out on their powered by the people, Connection Tour in order to continue to build with supporting and like-minded collectives across the states. We are most excited about this particular collaboration happening this Wednesday, September 16th, as CumbiaSazo! joins forces with our Boyle Heights fam SUBSUELO! Bogart of Whiskey Barons also joins the party and the RSVP list is already hanging out the door at Eastside Luv Bar y Queso. We took witness and participated in CumbiaSazo!’s party at Chicago’s Double Door and a couple of other events earlier this year and highly suggest this event LA!

On Saturday January 17th, 2015, Re:Fresh [Pomona] began a new venture alongside Def Tribe and the new Flyway at Fox venue in Pomona. The first event featured the unmatched skills of DJ Nu-Mark of the legendary group Jurassic 5. In his last Los Angeles show before his upcoming TRDMRK tour with Slimkid3 (of the Pharcyde) promoting the latest, to be followed by an international Jurassic 5 tour. The party was a huge success, the only remnants are these photos taken by Farah Sosa. We’ve also seen a great amount of fan photos and videos out there. We’d love to see what you’ve captured, send your photos and videos from this event to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are grateful that we are able to take part in this surge of incredible events in Pomona, we thank you all for your continued support!
